Men are less likely to ask for help. That needs to change.

Men are significantly less likely than women to visit their GP, seek health advice or take action on symptoms before they become serious. The result is that the conditions that most commonly affect and kill men – heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity – are often preventable but go unaddressed until something goes seriously wrong.

The good news is that the changes that make the biggest difference to men’s health are not complicated. You do not need a radical diet overhaul or an extreme fitness plan. You need the right information, applied consistently, in a way that fits around your actual life.

I am Tracey Warren, a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. I work with men across the UK via online video call to build personalised nutrition plans that address the specific health challenges they face – with honest, practical advice and no fads or nonsense. Everything fits around a real working life.

The health challenges men most commonly face.

⚖️

Weight That Creeps Up

Gradual weight gain through your 40s and 50s – particularly around the middle – is one of the most significant drivers of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and other chronic conditions. There are specific dietary changes that reverse this pattern sustainably.

❤️

Heart Health and Cholesterol

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in men in the UK. High blood pressure and high cholesterol often have no symptoms at all. Targeted nutritional support makes a significant and measurable difference to both.

Energy and Performance

Persistent fatigue, poor concentration and flagging energy in the afternoon are rarely just about working hard. They are almost always driven by a specific nutritional pattern that is straightforward to address.

🩸

Blood Sugar and Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is one of the most common and most preventable conditions in men. Nutritional intervention is one of the most powerful tools available – both for prevention and for managing blood sugar if you already have a diagnosis.

🧠

Stress, Sleep and Mental Health

Chronic stress, poor sleep and low mood all have a significant nutritional component. The connection between what you eat, how you sleep and how you feel is profound – and addressing it makes a genuine difference.

💪

Muscle, Joints and Recovery

Maintaining muscle mass as you age, supporting joint health and recovering properly from physical activity are all directly influenced by nutrition – particularly protein intake and anti-inflammatory eating.

Practical advice that fits around your life.

I am not going to tell you to give up everything you enjoy, follow a restrictive diet or spend hours in the kitchen. My approach is evidence-based, realistic and built around what you can actually sustain long term.

Every plan I build is personalised to you – your health history, your goals, your lifestyle and the specific challenges you face. The changes I recommend are practical, achievable and designed to fit around a real working life.

Energy and Blood Sugar

How to eat to maintain consistent energy throughout the day without relying on caffeine and sugar.

Heart Health

The specific dietary changes that support healthy blood pressure, cholesterol and cardiovascular function.

Weight Management

Addressing the specific patterns that drive weight gain in men – and how to reverse them sustainably.

Gut Health

The connection between gut health, immunity, mood and metabolic health – and how to support it practically.

Sleep and Stress

The nutritional changes that make the biggest difference to sleep quality, stress resilience and recovery.

Long Term Health

Building the nutritional foundations that protect against the conditions most likely to affect your health as you age.

Get these checked. They could save your life.

These five health markers are the most important indicators of your long term health risk. Many of them have no symptoms until something goes seriously wrong. Ask your GP for a check – it takes five minutes.

Blood Pressure

Aim for below 120/80. High blood pressure is one of the leading causes of heart attack and stroke and often has no symptoms whatsoever.

Cholesterol

A full lipid profile checks LDL, HDL and triglycerides. High cholesterol is entirely manageable with targeted dietary changes.

Blood Sugar – HbA1c

This test checks your average blood sugar over three months and is the most reliable way to identify pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes risk.

Vitamin D

Deficiency is extremely common in the UK and directly affects energy, mood, immunity and bone health. Easily corrected with supplementation.

Waist Circumference

Over 94cm in men significantly increases cardiovascular and diabetes risk. Abdominal fat is the most metabolically active and damaging type.

BMI and Body Composition

BMI alone is a limited measure but combined with waist circumference gives a clear picture of your metabolic health risk.

Clear, simple and genuinely effective.

No long term commitment required. Start with a Quick MOT if you want to get a feel for working together before committing to a longer programme. Many clients start there and then continue with the full programme once they have seen the difference it makes.

Straight answers to straight questions.

Is this going to tell me to give up everything I enjoy?
No. I have no interest in giving you a plan you cannot stick to. My approach is realistic, practical and built around your actual life – including the things you enjoy. Sustainable change is always better than a perfect plan you abandon after two weeks.
I am already fairly healthy. Would this benefit me?
Absolutely. Many of the men I work with do not have obvious health problems – they just want to perform better, maintain their health as they age and reduce their long term risk. Preventative nutrition is some of the most valuable work I do.
I have been told my cholesterol or blood pressure is high. Can nutrition help?
Yes – significantly. Nutritional intervention has very strong evidence behind it for both high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Many clients see meaningful improvements in their numbers within 8 to 12 weeks of dietary changes. This does not replace medical treatment but works powerfully alongside it.
How does the online consultation work?
Everything is delivered via video call – Zoom or Teams, whichever you prefer. You complete a health questionnaire before the session so we can use our time together as effectively as possible. Sessions can be booked at a time that suits you including evenings and weekends.
Can my employer pay for this?
Yes – I can provide invoices made out to your company. If you are self-employed it may also be a legitimate business expense – speak to your accountant. The workplace team package is specifically designed for employers wanting to invest in staff wellbeing.

Your health is worth the conversation.
